Curriculum

The Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Program at Naples High School gives highly capable students the opportunity to tailor advanced academic course selections to their individual interests, abilities, strengths, and future plans within an international curricular framework.  Courses are offered on the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and Advanced (A) levels and may lead a student to earn an internationally recognized Cambridge AICE Diploma and college credits.

Must successfully pass seven (7) AICE courses to earn a Cambridge Diploma.

* Everyone attempting to obtain the Cambridge AICE Diploma MUST take and pass Global Perspectives & Research.

The College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses are rigorous, college-level classes in a variety of subjects that give students an opportunity to gain the skills and experience colleges recognize. 

AP Capstone Diploma Option

Students pursuing AP Capstone Diploma must take Seminar and Research PLUS receive a 3 or higher on at least 4 additional AP exams.

• AP Seminar - offered during junior year. Consists of learning research and presentation skills and mini projects to develop these skills.
• AP Research - offered during senior year. Consists of taking those skills developed in AP Seminar and expand them into a full research paper and presentation.
   

CDE at Lorenzo Walker Technical College gives you the chance to earn both high school and postsecondary credits while gaining valuable hands-on experience in your chosen program. Whether you want to enter the workforce after graduation or continue your education, CDE is your way to FastTrack your future.

CDE allows you to take courses at Lorenzo Walker Technical College while you're still enrolled in your home high school. These courses are designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and certifications you need for a wide range of in-demand careers. By completing CDE, you'll not only finish high school with a high school diploma, but also with industry-recognized credentials and college credits that can set you apart when applying for jobs or continuing your education.

Florida Gulf Coast University Collegiate High School
 Florida Gulf Coast University Accelerated Collegiate Experience is an early admissions program for highly motivated and exceptionally qualified 11th and 12th grade high school students. This special program allows students to attend FGCU as a fulltime university student. Collegiate High School students complete high school graduation requirements while simultaneously earning college credit.

Florida Southwestern State College Dual Enrollment Program
The Dual Enrollment program offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn credit towards both high school graduation and college. Courses are offered on the college campus or on the campus of the various participating public high schools. Readiness for this program is determined through an examination of the student's high school GPA and scores earned on the ACT-E, SAT-R or FCELPT.

The Dual Enrollment program at Lely High School, offered through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, provides students across all CCPS schools with the opportunity to earn up to $30,000 in transferable college credits. Participants receive an official Embry-Riddle transcript and can enhance their college resumes by obtaining pilot and drone licenses. Additionally, over $11,000 in local scholarships are available to help students earn their pilot’s license.
